27-year-old motorcyclist dies after crash in Bristol

BRISTOL, Conn. (WTNH) — A 27-year-old motorcyclist died on Saturday after crashing while driving on Route 6 in Bristol, according to police.

Officers said that they were on patrol in the area when two motorcycles drove past them at a high rate of speed. When the sergeant turned around to stop them, they found that one of the motorcycles had crashed.

Lifesaving efforts were taken, and they were transported to the hospital where they were pronounced dead. The driver has been identified as Patrick McCool, 27, from Terryville.
