SOUTH WINDSOR, Conn. (WTNH) — South Windsor police say they arrested a Massachusetts man over the weekend after he was accused of making lewd comments to a 12-year-old in August.

Joseph A. Mille, 35, of Medway, Massachusetts was arrested on an active warrant Sunday. His charges include risk of injury to a child and second-degree breach of peace.

Man charged with attacking New Haven runner in 2023

The charges stem from Aug. 30, when Mille is accused of approaching a 12-year-old girl after she got off the school bus, and asking if she wanted to see his private parts.

Mille left the scene before police arrived, but his vehicle was identified by an off-duty officer the next day.

An arrest warrant was obtained and Mille turned himself in. He was released on a $25,000 surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on Oct. 30.
