$1M worth of construction vehicles damaged by arson in Farmington

FARMINGTON, Conn. (WTNH) — Connecticut State Police are asking for the public’s help to find the person who lit several construction vehicles in Farmington on fire.

Hammonasset Construction estimates that the fire happened over the weekend at a construction yard on Interstate 84 West near Exit 39A. About $1 million worth of equipment, and eleven vehicles, were damaged. Vehicles were also vandalized.

State police said that the fire would have been visible from I-84.
