    East Haven K9 to retire after 8 years of service

    EAST HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — After eight years with the East Haven Police Department, K9 Ace is ready to enjoy leisurely walks and relaxing naps in retirement.

    Police are planning to hold a retirement ceremony for the hard-working pup at the police department on North High Street at 11 a.m. Thursday.

    The 32nd annual K-9 Olympics return to Enfield

    Ace was partnered with Officer Kevin McGuire “throughout his storied tenure.”

    “Now he’s looking forward to leisurely walks, fun games of fetch, and plenty of well-deserved naps,” police said.
