    New Britain man arrested in relation to shots fired incident in Waterbury

    WATERBURY, Conn. (WTNH) — A man was arrested in relation to a shots fired incident on Thursday morning in Waterbury, according to police.

    The incident happened at around 2 a.m. on Baldwin Street. Officers located the suspect nearby, attempted to flee the scene and was apprehended following a brief foot pursuit. It was determined that the suspect was in an argument outside of the residence that escalated into gunfire. No one was injured, police said.

    Devon Abney, 32, from New Britain was arrested and is facing seven charges, including criminal mischief, interfering with an officer and criminal possession of a firearm.

    Abney is currently being held on a $750,000 bond.
