WATERBURY, Conn. (WTNH) — A Waterbury woman has been taken into custody for allegedly fatally hitting a bicyclist and then driving off last month.

Glory Sanchez, 32, has been charged with evading responsibility, criminal misrepresentation and failure to renew registration. She is being held on a $150,000 bond.

She is accused of hitting 37-year-old Luis Caceras, of Waterbury, at 6 a.m. on Sept. 25 in the area of Cooke Street and Grove Street. She then drove off.

Caceras died on Oct. 2 from his injuries. Sanchez was arrested on Thursday, according to Waterbury police.
