Section of Route 8 in Waterbury reopens after crash

WATERBURY, Conn. (WTNH) — A northbound section of Route 8 in Waterbury reopened Sunday morning after a two-vehicle crash closed the area for hours, according to state police.

At around 3:11 a.m., troopers arrived at Exit 30, where a crash occurred. Injuries have been sustained, but the extent is unknown, says state police.

Limited information was shared and the roadway was closed for hours, but has since reopened.
