Bicyclist killed in hit-and-run in Hartford

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — A bicyclist from East Hartford was killed in a hit-and-run in Hartford early Sunday morning, according to police.

Just after midnight, officers responded to the 600 block of Albany Avenue for a report of a collision involving a car and a bicycle.

Police said Rosevelt Vann Jr, 27, was found in the roadway, suffering from serious injuries. He was later pronounced dead at Saint Francis Hospital, according to police.

Hartford police are searching for the driver of a black Infiniti sedan that fled the scene, heading south on Garden Street.
