    60-year-old injured while parachuting in Ellington

    ELLINGTON, Conn. (WTNH) — A woman in her 60s injured her ankle while parachuting at the Ellington Airport Sunday afternoon.

    The Ellington Fire Department was called to the airport at 3:30 p.m. for reports of an injured parachutist. They arrived to find a 60-year-old woman who had sustained a hard landing and injured her ankle.

    The woman was treated by EMS on the scene and was transported to the hospital for her injury.
