Section of Granby closed after crash caused downed wires and pole

GRANBY, Conn. (WTNH) — Officials have closed an area in Granby as they work to clear the scene of a motor vehicle accident near Cider Mill Heights.

On Sunday afternoon at 1:05 p.m., the Granby Police Department reported that Mountain and Donahue Roads by Rt. 189 are closed due to a car crash that damaged a pole and brought down wires.

At this time, officials have not shared how the crash occurred or if there were any injuries.
