    Storm damage assessment to take place across parts of Ohio Thursday

    MONROE COUNTY, Ohio (WTRF) – The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh will conduct a storm damage survey for northern Monroe County in Ohio

    SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IN QUESTION

    Severe thunderstorms that occurred on the morning of Wednesday, February 28, 2024, could have produced damaging winds through parts of Ohio.

    Storm causes building damage in Southeast Ohio

    A storm survey will be assessed for the area along State Route 800 between Miltonsburg and Beallsville in Ohio.

    SEVERE WARNED STORM MOVING THROUGH MONROE COUNTY

    The final results of the storm survey are expected to be completed and revealed to the public by Thursday afternoon.

    STORM RELATIVE VELOCITY

    A slight rotation in the winds could be seen on Velocity between 7 and 8 a.m. on Wednesday morning through northern portions of Monroe County.
