    Local educator honored with sports complex in her name

    HANCOCK COUNTY, W.Va. ( WTRF ) – Oak Glen High School honored an outstanding woman whose leadership and kindness has had major impacts on educators and students in Hancock County.

    On Wednesday evening, Oak Glen High School baseball and softball teams joined Superintendent Dan Enich and Assistant Superintendent Dave Smith to officially name the Fields of Dreams Complex in honor of Suzan L. Smith.

    Smith has been an active part of Hancock County Schools for many years, serving as an administrator and Superintendent.

    Her dedication to the softball and baseball fields of dreams complex is what made the development possible.
