Ohio County Schools name Teacher and Service Personnel of the Year recipients

OHIO COUNTY, W.Va. (WTRF) – The Ohio County Board of Education has announced their Teacher and Service Personnel of the Year.

One teacher and one service personnel were nominated for each school in Ohio County and were recognized.

The winners are Kristy Villani and Jennifer Mulley.

Kristy is a kindergarten teacher from Middle Creek Elementary.

“It’s not just me though, it’s all the people that I’ve worked with in the county that I’ve worked with over the years that have helped me be the teacher that I am today.”

Jennifer Mulley is a transportation aide.

“I’m still trying to grasp everything. I’m surprised, I’m very grateful. I truly appreciate this.”

They are both very excited to have received these awards and are grateful to those who helped them get to where they are now.
