Indian Creek High School student receives R.A. Horne Student of the Year Award

Wintersville (OHIO) – Indian Creek High School presented the R.A. Horne Student of the Year Award to a dedicated student today during an in-school assembly.

Brayden Stewart, a special needs student at Indian Creek High School, was given the award due to his improvements with speech.

This award is given to one special needs student in each of Ohio’s 16 State Support Team regions, which is made up of over 50 schools.

“He made friends, learned all of the teachers’ names, and he’s just such a confident speaker now and before he used apps on a phone for whatever needed to be accomplished but now, can’t shut him up.”

On June 11 ^th at 1pm, the Indian Creek High School student awards banquet will be held in Byesville Ohio where Brayden Stewart will be recognized again for all his progress.
