Local college offering scholarships to students involved in Eastern Gateway Community College upheaval

BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio (WTRF) – Belmont College is offering a scholarship to students from Eastern Gateway Community College, facing that school’s uncertain future.

The Bridge To Success Scholarship will allow any student who received the Horizon or Gateway grant to transfer to Belmont College tuition-free.

Officials at Belmont College say they want to reach to EGCC students to let them know they have support and an easy pathway to continue their education

And what we are going to offer these students is their tuition line itme will be covered for 6 semesters here. They will still have their books and fees out of pocket but that tuition line is going to cover a huge amount of their educational expense.
