Wheeling Central Baseball Saves Season With Pitchers Duel Walk-off Win in Extras

WHEELING, W.Va. (WTRF)– It didn’t quite match the fire-power of Game 1, but it was every bit as entertaining. Wheeling Central finally scored in the 10th inning to win it 1-0 and extend the series to Game 3 Wednesday Evening.

Before freshman Zayne Rosnick could walk it off, the sophomore Brayden Cover stole the show on the mound pitch eight innings of scoreless ball with 12 K’s to show for it.

To advance to the state tournament, they’ll need to win on the road Wednesday night in Williamstown.
