    Harrisville VFD shows off new ambulance

    HARRISON COUNTY, Ohio (WTRF)

    The Harrisville Volunteer Fire Department showed off their new rig at this weeks Harrison County Commission meeting.

    The cost of the ambulance was roughly $290,000 and was bought through levy funds. It is set to go into regular service next week.

    This rig has all the latest equipment which aids in the best care for patients.

    Officials say without the support of the community this much needed ambulance would not have been possible.

    “With this ambulance, it’s going to help support the community in their time of need. So we can provide them the best service possible.”

    The ambulance is set to be put into service sometime next week.
