Orrick honors veterans through cleaning and decorating memorial

WHEELING, W.Va. (WTRF) — Orrick Global Operations & Innovation Center spent the afternoon at Heritage Port honoring veterans by cleaning and gardening around the Veterans Memorial Amphitheater.

Volunteers scrubbed the monuments, planted flowers, and hung ribbons in preparation for Memorial Day weekend celebrations.

Lori Naser, executive assistant and workflow coordinator at Orrick, says what better way to say thank you than to beautify the area and honor those veterans.

“It’s just amazing to have so many people want to come together to give back and especially to our veterans who have done so much for our country and our area.”

Naser says Orrick promotes community and gives back to those who have given their lives to this country.

On Veteran’s Day the law firm will be sending care packages to local deployed troops or donating to organizations like Helping Heros.
