MONROE COUNTY, Ohio (WTRF) — Three people are in custody, and another is still wanted after a string of thefts in Monroe County.
According to officials, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office began receiving information on a series of break-ins and thefts at a property in Summit Township.
During the early stages of the investigation, officials say detectives gathered evidence that led to the identification of two suspects: Ryan D. Anderson of Barnesville and William “Darrell” Groves of Somerton.
Officials say on August 5, the sheriff’s office was notified of a suspicious vehicle at the Summit Township property, which led to Deputy Schuerman, Deputy Cook, and Detective Russell locating Anderson and an additional subject, Bryan S. Lucas, of Malaga, attempting to take additional items.
