BELLAIRE, OHIO (WTRF) — Community members in Bellaire, Ohio came out to Belmont Savings Bank on Friday to witness the reveal of the newly designed equipment trailer for the Big Reds Marching Band.

The event was completely free for the entire community to attend and featured several performances by the band.

After a generous donation from Belmont Savings Bank, Chirps Auto Center installed a brand-new wrap on their equipment trailer for no cost at all.

The trailer will travel with them to all away games during football season and any other competitions or events that the band participates in.

Having support from local businesses is something that the community says they will always appreciate.

”If they didn’t, we couldn’t do this. Believe me, we couldn’t because of the expense of it. The only money we make is what we make at our concession stands and ask for donations.”

Mike Flowers – President, Bellaire Band Parents

”When we have outside entities and different corporations and groups willing to give so much to help the kids have something new and shiny and exciting, it’s a really big deal.”

Lara Cline – Band Director, Bellaire High School Band

Band Director, Lara Cline says the students deserve a reward like this after all the work they put in and says she can’t thank the community enough for all their support.
