Preview of 7News Exclusive: Chris Stirewalt prepares for upcoming election

WHEELING, W.Va. ( WTRF ) – Wheeling Native and nationally known political analyst Chris Stirewalt reminisced on his life in the friendly city in an exclusive interview with 7News.

A Linsly graduate who worked his way up to the top and now serves as a political editor and anchor for News Nation’s The Hill Sunday.

Stirewalt has over 20 years of experience in news and gave some insight on how he is preparing for the upcoming election.

“Over the course of my career, what I have tried to do, is not play for a team. And the difference between the news and entertainment, it’s okay if the news is a little entertaining, but the difference is sometimes we have to tell people what they don’t want to hear. Telling people hard truths in love is the fundamental work of adult life and it’s certainly at the venter of what we do for our vocations.”
