West Virginia and Ohio officials looking for person who crashed into their cruisers and led them on a chase

BROOKE COUNTY, W.Va (WTRF) — Brooke County deputies say a driver of an alleged stolen vehicle led deputies on a chase before crashing on the Veterans Bridge in Weirton

Officials say the chase ended on the eastbound lanes of the bridge before the suspect then ran on foot and into the ravine by Exit 1, the ramp that goes to WV Route 2 South.

Police are still actively looking in the area.

Officials in Steubenville say two police cruisers were also hit during the pursuit.
