Marshall County School employees were able to interact with nearly 50 organizations to gather information on health care, financial planning, legal advice and much more.

Superintendent, Shelby Haines, says they always do a lot of students leading up to the new year, and the county wanted to find a way to support teachers too.

“We have people here from legal Aid for free legal advice. We have people here from PEIA, from Delta Dental and people from retirement investment firms. We have great employees here in Marshall County, and we want to make sure that they know all of the benefits that are available to them.”

Haines says in addition to the resource fair, employees were also learning as a part of their continuing education training.

Again, Marshall County Schools return to the classroom next Tuesday, Aug. 20.
