Warwood School Officially Splits into Two

Warwood, W.Va. (WTRF) Warwood school has operated as a preschool through 8 ^th grade program until this year.

Today, Warwood school celebrated its division into two separate schools with a ribbon cutting ceremony.

While both schools will remain in the same building, the split will allow more efficiency and personalized learning.

The school will have two separate principals and administrations, which will empower the faculty and staff to focus on what is best for students in their age groups.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for our students to receive the personalized attention that they need. We will continue to have one building which is the best of both worlds because my fifth graders can just walk across the hall to get a little glimpse of what middle school life is like.”

“The most important thing is that we’re two separate schools but we’re going to continue to work together, work within the community. All the benefits that there are to being so close to the elementary school and the middle school will continue, but we get to do things mor effectively. Most importantly we all still remain Vikings.”

While the building will now house two schools, most of what has been happening at Warwood will remain the same.

Both schools are dedicated to providing a high-quality education and strive to include the community.

Students start back to school tomorrow, August 16 ^th .
