Bellaire Business Dash Car, Truck & Bike Show draws garage gurus from all over

BELLAIRE, Ohio (WTRF) – Generations of garage gurus revved their engines at the 3 ^rd Annual Bellaire Business Dash Car, Truck, and Bike Show at Bellaire Historic Park.

With tons of sweet treats and, of course, sweet rides, there was something for everyone including live music, food, 50/50 raffles, and vendors.

Many of the cars being shown came from all over, but Gary DeVendra was born and raised in Bellaire, Ohio.

He’s had his award-winning 1967 Pontiac GTO with a 400 engine for 32 years after he bought it from previous owners who couldn’t keep up with the maintenance.

”They just got tired of fixing it. So, they asked me if I would like to purchase it. And I did. And being a mechanic and having the station, I tore it all down and rebuilt everything and ended up – There it is. My dream car. I’ve met so many people that I haven’t seen for ages. And it makes you feel good. And everybody compliments me on my car, so that makes it feel double good.”

Trophies were awarded in several categories by independent judges, and dash plaques were given to the first 200 registrants.

All of the proceeds from this event benefitted the Bellaire Business Alliance.
