2024 High School Football Season Starts With WTRF Kickoff Show

WHEELING,W.Va. (WTRF) – The 2024 high school football season opened Tuesday night with the annual WTRF Kickoff Show at Quaker Steak and Lube at the Highlands.

Several teams Wheeling Park, Wheeling Central, Linsly, John Marshall, Cameron, Magnolia, Madonna and Buckeye Local attended. The John Marshall and Wheeling Park bands also performed.

The night was capped by a wing eating contest won by Wheeling Central’s Dom Asbury.
