Adults allegedly had Ohio 6-year-old restrained with handcuffs on hands and feet while a pitbull attacked the child’s neck and ear; Pitbull taken into custody

Multiple people were arrested after Ohio deputies discovered a 6-year-old was restrained with handcuffs on his hands and feet while a pitbull attacked the child’s neck and ear.

The Ashland Sheriff’s Office said they received a 911 call in Savannah, Ohio that said a Pitbull had bitten a 6-year-old child on the neck and ear. Squad members arrived and said the child was in serious condition and Life Flight was called.

Deputies say they identified the mother as Angelina Williams of Cleveland, Ohio, who was living with a family member of Robert Michalski, who was the owner of the house and dog. Robert had left the house with the Pitbull before deputies arrived, officials said.

Two days later, detectives and deputies say they discovered through an investigation that the 6-year-old had been restrained with handcuffs on his hands and feet when the Pittbull attacked him.

A search warrant was executed at the house where deputies say they recovered evidence to support the investigation. They say they found Robert Michalski and the pitbull hiding in a cubbyhole upstairs in the house.

Deputies say the pitbull was taken into custody to be housed as a vicious dog. Angelina Williams and Robert Michalski were taken into custody and jailed. Angelina’s boyfriend Taylor Desiree Marvin-Brown was at the house and assisted with restraining the 6-year-old, according to deputies, and was taken into custody as well.

The case has been forwarded to the Ashland County Prosecutor’s Office.
