FLOTSAM! River Circus docks at Wheeling’s Heritage Port

WHEELING, W.Va. (WTRF) – Viewers from all over ‘stepped right up’ to Wheeling’s Heritage Port to bear witness to FLOTSAM! River Circus – a travelling troupe of musicians, circus artists, and puppeteers.

Each summer, they choose a different river to float down on their handmade raft and this summer they chose the Ohio River, giving free performances all the way from Pittsburgh to Paducah.

They were in Steubenville Wednesday, and had one of their largest crowds yet this evening in Wheeling.

They will set sail to New Martinsville on Friday night.

Family friendly performances begin at 6pm and last until around 7:30pm.
