Crews respond to active well pad fire in Tyler County

TYLER COUNTY, W.Va. (WTRF) — Emergency personnel have responded to an active well pad fire near Big Run in Tyler County.

The Shirley Volunteer Fire Department says all county departments and some from surrounding counties are on scene at the pad, owned by Jay-Bee Oil and Gas.

It is located off of West Virginia Route 18 on Indian Creek Rd.

They are warning those nearby to avoid the area with the heavy emergency response.
