At times last year, Hundred played snaps a man-down with only 10 guys due to injury. Despite a few transfers, their numbers this year are up, and according to coach, the team cohesion is as well.

“The team chemistry has been the best I’ve ever had, so you can build off that, so if you have kids that want to be here that want to play, want to win, that’s a winning combonation to me. this year we’re all in”

As an extension of that sentiment, Coach Sleeth is also all-in on his new quarterback Tre Huggins, both on-and-off the field

“He’s smart and he’s sneaky-fast, and he can throw the ball too, so he has actually showed he’s taken the bull by the horns and taken this team and put it on his back, and I think he is the leader that we need to center ourselves around.”

Around Huggins are more proven weapons like Colt Sandy, Jackson Huggins, and Tyler Sleeth, with Senior newcomer Rylee Hartford adding some height out wide at receiver.

The offensive line will have more vacancies to fill but do bring back both Julian Conway and Terry Greiver.

All those guys remember to highlight from last season in their long-awaited 26-22 upset over rival Clay-Battelle. Now that they have the belt tho, they’ll need to defend it.

“It was a fantastic game, it’s been a healthy rival ever since I played, I have a lot of respect for them, they’ve always had a lot of class, they play hard too, so there’s no doubt they have that 1st game circled just like we do.”

In that case, both teams have August 30th circled on their calendar, with Clay-Batelle hosting the battle this time.
