    West Liberty And Wheeling Open The Football Season With A Loss

    WHEELING,W.Va.(WTRF) – West Liberty and Wheeling each opened their football season Thursday with a home loss.

    The Toppers dropped their match-up with Walsh 41-21. The Toppers will stay at home next week and host Limestone Thursday.

    The Cards fell in a tight battle with division-one Mercyhurst 28-25. Wheeling will travel next weekend to North Canton to face Walsh.
