MOUNDSVILLE, W.Va. (WTRF) – One resident had the idea to create an indoor recreational complex for his own children and grandchildren, and when he noticed the demand, he opened the idea to city officials for the entire community at a city hall meeting Wednesday evening.

That resident asked for permission to build a 16-foot-tall metal building on his property with batting cages, basketball hoops, volleyball nets and more for families and teams to rent out.

Petitions have been filled with signatures by Moundsville residents eager to see this opportunity through for the future of young athletes in the city.

However, others are concerned about increased traffic throughout the residential area that the building would be placed in.

Ultimately, the proposal was passed in a three to one vote, and they will need to move forward with getting the building approved to officially be a business once it’s built.

Well Vicki Lough all he would need to do is obtain the proper Commercial General Liability Insurance. My question is where is the proposed location?

I would worry about the liability if someone gets hurt.
