Wheeling Central Named The Defelice Brothers Pizza Team of the Week

WHEELING,W.Va. (WTRF) – Before we get into week three we need to honor our Defelice Brothers Pizza team of the week the Wheeling Central Maroon Knights who endured a five-hour bus ride south to face James Monroe.

The Mavericks had won the last two meetings including last years season opener and in the state semifinals in 22. Issac Martin helped lead the way on the ground along with NIco Kusic they combined for 232 yards and three touchdowns.

The Maroon Knights face Fort Frye Friday in their home opener.
