    Hancock County Schools will be closed Wednesday due to threats

    HANCOCK COUNTY, W.Va. (WTRF) – Officials announced on social media that all Hancock County Schools will be closed on Wednesday, September 11th.

    Hancock County Schools Superintendent Dan Enich made a statement on social media about the closure:

    Because of security reasons…all schools in HC will be closed 9/11/24. Our administration will be meeting with law enforcement tomorrow concerning these current security matters.
