Ohio 2-year-old in critical condition after being ran over by mother driving construction vehicle

BUTLER COUNTY, Ohio — A 2-year-old boy in Ohio is in critical condition after being run over by a skid steer his mother was driving.

According to the Times Reporter , the child is in critical condition at Akron Children’s Hospital, and doctors are hopeful that he will recover from his serious injuries.

It is reported that the mother was using the vehicle for transportation, and the children were riding in the bucket.

The Times Reporter says that the mother was unaware that the child had fallen out before she discovered him trapped between the vehicle’s tracks and the concrete.

The mother called for assistance, and the child was taken by LifeFlight helicopter to the hospital for treatment.

The Tuscarawas County Sheriff’s Office told the media outlet that they are unsure how the child fell out, as his twin brother did not.
