More than 60 boxes of documents were brought to the attention of state and court officials in the latest developments with the Austin Master Services case.

Court documents reveal Wayne Minnicks, a former employee, reached out to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division of Oil and Gas Resources Management. Minnicks told the Division he was storing 61 boxes of records related to AMS and parent company American Environmental Partners.

In an affidavit, Minnicks said he took the boxes to his home in March 2024 as a favor to his former boss, Brad Domitrovisch. Minnicks said he later tried to return the documents to Domitrovitsch. He stated that in a phone call in June, Domitrovitsch told him, “Just go ahead and start pitching them. That is what I would do if I had them.”

In a court document, Domitrovitsch’s attorneys denied that claim and said the boxes were mostly human resources records and other records, rather than from AMS.  However, Minnicks claimed the boxes actually contained 80 percent AMS records.

Court records show Minnicks was later able to turn the boxes over to Domitrovitsch, and that it was later turned over to his attorneys.

Details on how those documents could affect the case are still unknown. This is a developing story.
