West Virginia Division of Highways announces 10-week lane closures on I-470 starting Monday

OHIO COUNTY, W.Va. — The West Virginia Division of Highways announced lane closures on I-470 Eastbound and Westbound for the next ten weeks beginning Monday.

I-470 will close the left lanes, eastbound and westbound, from the Ohio state line, at milepost 3.0 to milepost 2.0, at Exit 2 in Bethlehem, beginning on Monday, September 16, 2024, through Saturday, November 23, 2024, for median and road maintenance.

The lane closures will be 7 days a week and 24 hours a day until completion.

Motorists are advised to reduce speed and expect delays.

Inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.

it never ends. maybe pay a little more first time around so we don't have to deal with all the constant damn delays and repairs. new pave is rough and looks like shit. the way they have done the road closures around here is incompetent at best.
