Body found dead on arrival near Ohio River under Interstate 70 bridge

Officials say a body has been found dead on arrival near the Ohio River under the Interstate 70 bridge.

Wheeling Police are currently on the scene near S Wabash St on Wheeling Island.

Police say they were dispatched to the area after they received a call of a deceased male.

Wheeling Police say the body will be sent to the medical examiner’s office to assess the cause of death.

Police believe there is no suspected foul play at this time.

7News is on the scene and will have updates when they are available

WTRF TV 7 IS GOOD AT THIS WHEN IT COMES TO CRIME AND OTHER THINGS LIKE THAT BUT WHEN IT COMES TO FOOTBALL THEY CAN GET RIGHT ON THAT AND THE SHOWS THAT PAY THEM MONEY BUT NOT THE OHIO LOTTERY GAME SHOW AT 7.30PM ON SATURDAY BUT THE PAID PROGRAMS ARE RIGHT ON TIME, WHEN IT WAS ON WTOV 9 THE LOTTERY WAS ALWAYS ON, 95PERCENT OF THE TIME. When the trainwreck was in East Palestine, Ohio I had to call them to get on it and report it Then WTOV 9 TV got on it. Around this area they tell you NOTHING AT ALL NOTHING BUT FOOTBALL AND THEY GOT OFF COUNCIL MEETINGS THEY ARE NOT ON THEM LIKE BEFORE AND I THINK BECAUSE I SAID SOMETHING LIKE THIS
