Ohio music festival, Sonic Temple, to feature two nights of Metallica

One of the biggest music festivals in the United States is in Ohio, and Metallica has been announced as the headliner for two of the festival’s nights .

Metallica will headline Sonic Temple in Columbus for two nights with two different sets, meaning no repeat weekend.

Sonic Temple is held on May 8-11, 2025 at Historic Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio.

Metallica will play headliner on Friday night, May 9, and Sunday night May 11. The Supporting act for Friday will be Rob Zombie and Sunday will be Alice In Chains.

Sonic Temple says this will be the only way to see Metallica in the region in 2025.

In 2025, Sonic Temple will feature over 100 bands.

The festival also plans to make daily artist announcements instead of releasing all the bands simultaneously.
