Halloween is right around the corner and the Dungeon of Horrors is about to open up at the West Virginia Penitentiary.

The West Virginia Penitentiary’s Haunted Hosue will open on Friday, September 25, and will run until November 2nd.

The Dungeon is for those 13 and older and will last about 45 minutes, where you’ll experience the fright of being locked in a cell, the fear of being lost in a maze, and the terror of a nightmarish walk through our Dungeon of Horrors. It is a no-touch haunt.

Tickets for the Haunted House is $25 and must be purchased online only.

The Dungeon of Horrors utilizes fog machines, multiple strobe lights, low ceilings, stairs, jump scares, claustrophobia, and general disorientation.

The Pen also offers a North Walk. It’s a guided Walk through the northern section of the facility and is most known to have paranormal activity.

This 45 minute, lights-out tour is only offered during the haunted house season

If you are planning on attending the Dungeon of Horrors the same night, you must schedule to do the North Walk first for timing purposes.

Ticket sales are limited and are $25.

The scariest thing about this article is the lack of details. Could have been written by WTAP.
