    Kennywood’s Phantom Fall Fest voted as Best in Nation

    WEST MIFFLIN, Pa. — Phantom Fall Fest at Kennywood is very cutesy, very squirmy, very 10Best!

    Kenywood Park’s annual Halloween event celebrates it’s 22nd season with a nomination as one of the Best Theme Park Halloween Events in USA Today’s 10Best Reader’s Choice Awards.

    Kennywood is now calling on visitors from in and around the region to vote for Phantom Fall Fest to be named one of the top Halloween events in the country.

    Voting is open from Sept 25 through Oct 21.

    Kennywood’s Phantom Fall Fest features more than 30 attractions, including six horrifying haunts, four sinister scare zones, more than 100 scare actors, and terrifying rides in the dark.

    Guests can do Halloween their way, with family-friendly activities during the day, then at 6 p.m., the fear kicks into gear with hair-raising thrills, all included for free with park admission, running select dates through Sunday, Oct 27.

    The park is getting very cutesy as Dogtober Fest takes over on Saturday, Sept 28!

    Dogs and their parents are invited for a pup costume contest, photos and more from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

    Those interested in attending can register online will get free entry into the event with a donation of one five-pound bag of dog food.

    All donations will go directly to Animal Friends , a full-service companion animal welfare organization in Pittsburgh.

    Phantom Fall Fest gets very squirmy with the second annual Phantom’s Worm Eating Challenge, complete with a starchy surprise.

    The second annual grub grubbing competition will challenge brave souls to munch down on mealworm-topped Potato Patch® fries as quickly as possible at 7 p.m. on the Garden Stage on Friday, Oct 11.

    Daring diners can enter for a chance to ‘worm’ their way to victory and receive a 2025 Kennywood Platinum Season Pass.

    15 eaters will be randomly selected to compete and put their guts to the test.
