Squad Goals: Union Local High School

BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio (WTRF) — For those who don’t know already… it’s a special every week where we honor cheer teams across the Ohio Valley.

I’m Amy Wade Latham, and I coach the varsity team at Union Local High School.

We have 17 squad members on our game-day team and 12 on our traditional team.

We have five seniors this year.

Some of our accomplishments, we placed first in two competitions last year and we were runner ups in the states and 6 in nationals.

Our goal is to stay healthy and win a major competition.

Our next home game is October 4, which is our homecoming game.

We are currently fundraising to go to the nationals in February.
