Death of an infant leads to arrest of parents in Ohio

WELLS TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WTRF) — Authorities in Wells Township are currently investigating the death of an infant following a medical emergency call on Saturday.

The Wells Township Police Department reported that a distress call was received around 12:15 p.m. for a two-month-old baby boy.

The child was transported to Trinity West but was pronounced deceased.

Upon further investigation, officials say conditions in the home led to the arrest of the child’s mother and father.

Both parents are currently in custody as the investigation continues.
