OHIO (WTRF) — With election season in full swing, it’s important to know some of your voting options.

In-person voting is the most common method of voting, but mail-in ballots and early elections are good alternatives to this process.

Governor Mike DeWine says no matter how you vote, Ohioans should know their vote is safe.

The advantage of voting early is you know your vote is cast, and you don’t have to be worried about getting sick on election day. When you go in to vote in your precinct, there are Democrats and Republicans there who are running it, so everybody is watching everybody. People can be confident that their vote is going to be counted, they shouldn’t worry about the security of their votes.”

    Gov. Mike DeWine, R-Ohio

If you are interested in voting on the local or national level, be sure to check information like the date, time and location of your designated polling place to cast your ballot correctly.

Unfortunately, fear and intimidation rule. We can't get poll workers because they fear being persecuted and prosecuted for doing their civil duty. They fear violence could happen at any polling place. Vote at your county BOE starting Oct. 8.
