Frost Advisory issued for parts of Ohio and West Virginia Friday

WHEELING, W.Va. (WTRF) – The National Weather Service has issued a Frost Advisory until 9 A.M. Friday morning for the Ohio Valley.

It’s time to bring the plants in off the porch, now that temperatures begin to fall into the mid 30s frost is expected to form and temperatures on the Earth’s surface can be about 5°F to 10°F cooler than the air above it.

Frost Advisory outlines the entire Ohio Valley until 9:00 A.M. on Friday morning.

Friday October 11th, 2024 will mark the official first Frost of the season for the Ohio Valley, falling right in line with our climatological norm.
