MONROE COUNTY, Ohio (WTRF) — Police in Ohio have arrested two men in Monroe County after a traffic stop found suspected meth, fentanyl, and stolen tools.

On Monday, Oct. 7, deputies with the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle containing John Siddle, age 51, of Pleasant City, and Brian Davis, age 50, of Byesville in Center Township.

Officials say that during the traffic stop, deputies found suspected methamphetamine and arrested Siddle and Davis.

Detectives obtained a search warrant for the vehicle, which led them to the discovery of fentanyl, more methamphetamine, and tools that had been reported stolen out of additional jurisdictions.

Siddle and Davis are currently housed on various charges at the Monroe County Jail.

Officials say this investigation is still ongoing.
