Wheeling, W.Va. (WTRF) – A one-man volleyball team on a mission to save kids from bullying, suicide and many other problems, made a stop at Wheeling Park High School on Thursday night.

Bob Holmes has been playing full volleyball teams by himself since 1984 as a way to show kids that you don’t have to follow the crowd and destroy your life.

Thursday night, he took on members of the Wheeling Police Department, and spoke to the kids in attendance.

His message centered around hope, his faith in Christ, forgiveness and much more. There was also a mountain of free pizza, prizes, and the Wheeling Nailers even showed up.

In the end Bob came out victorious, with a final score of 25 to 21.
