Oglebay hosting Twinkle Trot where you can walk, jog, or run through the Festival of Lights

WHEELING, W.Va. (WTRF) — Oglebay Park Festival of Lights is inviting you and your family to embark on a brand-new holiday adventure.

Returning on Nov. 24, at 6 p.m., the 2nd Annual Festival of Lights Twinkle Trots is back for an exciting journey through a winter wonderland adorned with millions of sparkling lights, festive displays, and heartwarming holiday music.

The Twinkle Trot is a 5K that begins at the Oglebay Good Zoo. Both walking and jogging are permitted.

Organizers encourage participants to dress in creative holiday attire. Participants must bring their own light to guide them through the race and ensure others can see them.

6 p.m. | General start

All participants registered by Friday, Nov. 15, will receive a souvenir t-shirt. The admission price is $25 per participant, increasing to $30 after Oct. 31.

Online registration ends Sunday, Nov. 17 at 11 a.m., and onsite registration at the Levenson Center begins at 5 p.m.
