Economic Outlook Conference will “Re-Imagine” the future of the Ohio Valley

WHEELING, W.Va. (WTRF) – The Wheeling Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting their annual Economic Outlook Conference to get a preview into the year to come from a global, national, regional, and local perspective.

It’s on Wednesday, October 16 ^th .

This year’s theme for the networking event is “Re-Imagining.”

There are several panels relating to re-imagining tourism and development, the workforce, and the future of the region.

”It really is anyone that’s interested in what’s happening in the region and in Wheeling, Ohio County for economic development and how all this growth affects all of us. And obviously we have such great recreation in schools, we have such a great foundation here. We need to figure out where our challenges are, how can we team together to do better and bring more business and even have, like we say, the local entrepreneurs grow and develop and feed families, do all the things we want to do.”
