    Man dies after walking along West Virginia Route 2

    Officials say a man died after walking along West Virginia Route 2.

    New Martinsville, WV Police say an elderly New Martinsville resident, Larry White, died after being hit by a vehicle on Wednesday.

    White was hit along Route 2 near Mayo’s Exxon in New Martinsville.

    Police say White was dead on arrival.

    The incident is still under investigation but police believe the incident was an accident

    No other details are being released at this time.
